AD AGE'S SMALL AGENCY AWARDS

HONORS AND AWARDS

Jeff Sweat in Chicago on stage with Judann Pollack from Ad Age sharing his COVID experience and the important takeaways he learned.

Small but mighty was the theme Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year Conference and Awards. Our own Jeff Sweat spoke about his COVID-19 experience and preparedness as an agency owner.

“Go away on a real vacation, and don’t wait for a crisis.”

In 6 Takeaways From Ad Age’s Small Agency Conference, Ad Age shares a recap of the event. During Jeff’s session, he offered frank advice to agency owners, including making sure that their agencies can run without them. While Jeff was intubated the team faced many unexpected challenges. One example, signing paychecks. Jeff’s wife was left to navigate the challenge of getting the company’s LLC documents signed so the team to continue being paid. He urges agency owners to think ahead about the details big and small.

The feeling on stage? You could've heard a pen drop. Everyone in the crowd was locked in. Great conversations followed as everyone came up to Jeff afterward.

Celebrating with Familiar Faces

We were also able to share a happy moment with our friends at CALLEN. It was a pleasure to come together and admire some of the best creative work that this industry has to offer. Cheers to another year of small agencies making a huge impact!
